• Southview Eye Centre

We are closing at the end of January 2026.

    Dr Durkin is retiring.

    Dr Schiller is relocating.

From 1 February 2026, Dr Durkin will be retiring and Dr Schiller will be relocating his practice to 45 Bridge Rd, Nowra, Ph: 4227 6388.

Dr Schiller is able to take over the ophthalmic care of all Dr Durkin’s patients. If you would like a referral to a different ophthalmologist, then please let us know.

We can still make the appointments for you with Dr Schiller up to and including February 2026. But for appointments in March 2026 or thereafter, you will need to contact his new practice. Many of the Southview Eye Centre staff will be relocating with Dr Schiller.

Dr Durkin sincerely thanks all his patients and referrers from the last 34 years, for providing him with a challenging, diverse and professionally rewarding career.
