• Southview Eye Centre

The Southview Eye Centre currently has two ophthalmologists working from our rooms as sole practitioner eye doctors, each in their own private practice. They have in excess of 60 years of ophthalmic experience. With a history of being frontline providers of medical eye care in the city and large regional centres, they have seen and treated the broadest spectrum of eye conditions. Both doctors are Fellows of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists and both doctors participate in continuing professional development to stay abreast of surgical and clinical breakthroughs.

Dr Schiller sees patients for cataract surgery.

Both Dr Schiller and Dr Durkin see patients for macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, general eye diseases, and other eye procedures.
